The Gift Aisle is an online universal gift listing service that allows you to list any item from any store, your honeymoon, home renovations and any other gifts you desire - all on the one registry!

When you sign up to The Gift Aisle you are provided with a personalised URL that guests can access by typing the website address into their web browser. Guests then simply browse through your personal selection of gifts and make a selection.

Creating your registry is easy and only takes a few minutes!

To begin creating your registry click here or on one of the sign up prompts throughout the site. After entering a few details such as your name, your partner’s name and your wedding date you will be able to start customising your page and adding gifts.

You can customise your registry page with your own photos, personal message to your guests and select from our range of beautiful themes.

Adding gifts is as simple as selecting an image from our gallery or uploading your own, writing a brief description for your guests to see, deciding how much the gift costs and nominating if you would like to allow multiple guests to each contribute to the gift (great option if the gift is a little pricey!) or if you would prefer your guests to purchase the gift from a retail store.

When you sign up to The Gift Aisle, you don't pay a thing until you have finished creating your registry and are ready to share it with your family and friends. This means you can try out The Gift Aisle for free without any risk or commitment.

When you sign up to The Gift Aisle, you don’t pay a thing until you have finished creating your registry and are ready to share it with your family and friends. This means you can try out The Gift Aisle for free without any risk or commitment.

Once you are ready to launch your registry and share it with family and friends, it costs $149 to use the The Gift Aisle service. We won’t ever charge you or your guests any commission or admin fees to use The Gift Aisle. There are absolutely no hidden fees or charges.

If your guests choose to contribute to your registry gifts online, one of the payment options is using a credit/debit card. If they choose this option we need to pass on the 2.5% processing fee for the transaction – unfortunately, we wouldn’t be able to operate without this.

All transactions are processed in Australian Dollars. When international guests purchase from The Gift Aisle, all transactions take place in Australian Dollars. As a result, guests may be charged a small currency conversion fee by their bank. This is not a fee charged by The Gift Aisle and guests are encouraged to contact their banking institute to find out if this fee will apply. For this reason, The Gift Aisle does not currently support couples outside of Australia who are looking to create a Gift Aisle registry.

On our Featured Registries page you will find many examples of Gift Aisle registries. The Gift Aisle is highly customisable so you can tailor your registry to suit the look and feel of your wedding. You can add your own photos, include messages to your guests and choose one of our beautiful registry themes to really make it your own.

When editing your Gift Aisle registry, you will be able to preview the changes as you go. Once you’re happy with the finished design you can save your progress and then proceed to the next step - sharing your registry with family and friends!

Creating and customising your own Gift Aisle registry is completely risk and commitment free. You don’t pay a thing until your ready to share your registry - so why not start setting up your Gift Aisle registry now?

Guests can access your Gift Aisle registry and contribute to gifts up until 7 days after your wedding - just in case any guests are running a little behind! After this time your guests will not be able to purchase from your registry and any remaining funds that you are yet to withdraw will be transferred to your nominated bank account.

After this date your registry will be closed.

The Gift Aisle allows you to list those high-ticket items you really want but are usually too expensive for one guest to purchase. Multiple guests can contribute as much cash as they would like towards these items until they are completely paid for. This means that holiday you always wanted, the house deposit or a new car is no longer out of reach!

It's not a problem if your guests don’t happen to contribute quite enough funds to completely pay for one of your gifts, you will still receive all the cash they contributed to spend as you wish.

Definitely! Not only can you customise your own Gift Aisle registry with pictures of you and your partner, you can also choose to upload your own pictures when creating your registry gifts.

We encourage you to make your registry your own however it is against The Gift Aisle terms and conditions to post any material that may be deemed offensive or in breach of copyright laws. The Gift Aisle reserves the right to remove any material deemed to be a breach of these terms and conditions.

The most common way that couples tell their guests about their registry is by including a registry card in their invitations. When you sign up to The Gift Aisle you will have the ability to download your own print ready personalised registry cards. These registry cards direct your guests straight to your registry page.

For a modern twist, you can also choose to let your guests know about your registry using our social media private message portal. Alternatively you can also purchase professionally printed registry cards through your dashboard.

Couples usually set up a registry 3-6 months before their wedding. It’s very common for wedding registry details to be sent with the invitation so it’s best to have your registry up and running before your invites are sent out.

You can list anything you like on your registry page. Many couples who already have all the things they need like to create a honeymoon fund where guests can contribute to their flights, accommodation and activities. Another option is to think about what your next big purchase will be and ask your guests to contribute towards that (eg. a house deposit or a car).

Definitely! When you create your Gift Aisle registry you will have access to your private dashboard. The dashboard shows which gifts your guests have selected and how much cash guests have already contributed.

From the dashboard, you'll also be able to edit your registry, add gifts, invite more guests, withdraw funds and access your printable registry cards.

You can login at any time and add more gifts to your registry. A good option is to include some items without a price limit. This way there will always be a gift available for your guests to select.

Yes. From your dashboard you can see a full list of activity by your guests as they choose gifts from your registry.

You can also download a full summary of your guest’s selections and the messages they have left for you.

You can withdraw funds up to two times before your wedding day so your funds are available when you need them most!Your registry is then closed 7 days after your wedding day and any remaining funds will be transferred to you at this point.

To withdraw funds all you need to do is login to your dashboard and click on the 'Retrieve Funds' button. Let us know what bank account to deposit your funds into and your cash will be on its way.

You can withdraw funds up to 2 times before your wedding day. Your registry is closed 7 days after your wedding day and any remaining funds will be transferred to you at this point.
