The Gift Aisle is an online universal gift listing service that allows couples to list all of the gifts that they really want, all on the one registry - without the restrictions that come with a department store! Our aim is to help couples kick-start their married lives by receiving the gifts that will make a real difference to their future. We focus on giving guests an easy, safe and secure way to contribute towards gifts they can be sure the newlyweds will love!
The Gift Aisle is an online universal gift listing service that specialises in weddings. We give couples the ability to include any item from any store without restricting them to the gifts a traditional department store registry offers. The Gift Aisle also allows multiple guests to contribute cash to higher ticket items so that couples can get the gifts that they really want and need, even if they are a little bit more pricy than the average guest can afford on their own. This means couples can even list gifts such as their honeymoon accommodation, deposit for a house or a holiday. One you have found the registry page simply click on the gifts that you like and follow the prompts to complete your selection. There's also a helpful 'How This Works?' button on the top of this page that will give you some helpful tips in case you get stuck.

If you would like to make a purchase from the registry but don’t have credit/debit card then worry not! You can still make a payment through either direct deposit or cheque/money order.
You may also notice that some gifts have the option to be purchased from a retail store. If you select this item, then the couple will be notified and you can just go to a retail store and purchase the item yourself.
Security is our greatest priority. All payments made through The Gift Aisle are processed through the eWAY payment portal. This is the same payment portal used by some of the worlds biggest brands such as Qantas, RSPCA, Westfield and Canon, just to name a few. We will never see or store any of your credit card details.
The Gift Aisle uses a 256-bit SSL (secure socket layer) certification to encrypt any payment that is transmitted over the internet while using The Gift Aisle’s service.
Once you have completed your gift selection and your payment is successfully processed you will receive confirmation on your screen. We will also send a payment confirmation and tax invoice to the email address you provide so that you have a record of the transaction.
When your payments have been finalised the couple will be notified on their personal registry page that you’ve made a contribution along with any personal message you have provided.
Once the registry has closed, the couple will be provided with a 'guest book' that details who contributed to what gifts and includes all of the guests personal messages.
Many guests still like to bring a card along to the wedding day. There is no need to mention that you provided a present through the registry – we will make sure the couple knows exactly who contributed to their wonderful gift!
If you've been provided with a registry card then all you need to do is enter in the couples registry URL (it looks something like this www.thegiftaisle.com/TOMANDJULIA) in your address bar. Alternatively you can search for the couple by name using the search bar at the top of this page.
If the couple has sent you a private message about their Gift Aisle registry through Facebook or Twitter then you can just click on the link in the message and it will take you straight to the couples gift registry.

You can pay using Visa, MasterCard or direct deposit.
Please note that for any payments made via Visa or MasterCard, we need to pass on the 2% processing fee. All transactions are processed in Australian Dollars. When you’re an international guest making a purchase from The Gift Aisle, all transactions take place in Australian Dollars. As a result, you may be charged a small currency conversion fee by your bank. This is not a fee charged by The Gift Aisle and we suggest that you contact your banking institute to find out if this fee will apply.

You can rest assured that your personal information will never be shared with anyone outside of The Gift Aisle. We take your privacy very seriously.
You can access a registry and contribute to gifts up to 7 days after the wedding date. After this time the registry will be closed and you will no longer be able to select any gifts.
